The Economic Development Coalition consists of nine voting members. Six are appointed by the Mayor and three are appointed by the Benton County Commissioners. Members reflect expertise and experience in business, technology, strategic planning, and public policy development. Membership is selected from the areas of emerging technology, manufacturing, financial services, professional services, general business, higher education, health care, agribusiness, retail, real estate and construction, green/sustainable business, and the community at large. The Mayor also appoints a City Councilor and the Benton County Board of Commissioners appoint one County Commissioner to serve as non-voting liaisons.
