Feedback on Shelter Proposals at July 16 Meeting

Next week the Corvallis City Council will be discussing two proposals to develop and staff a cold weather shelter for homeless men for the upcoming winter season. The Council is expected to make a decision at the July 16 meeting on where to direct $60,000 in funding for the shelter.

Community members who wish to provide feedback in advance can use the Public Input Form available online at www.corvallisoregon.gov/publicinput. Public comments will take place after the shelter discussion at the July 16 meeting, so submitting feedback in advance is the best way to ensure that the Council receives your input prior to the discussion.

The deadline for feedback to be included in the meeting packet is noon on Tuesday, July 10. Feedback received after this date will be conveyed to the City Council and noted in official meeting minutes, but might not appear in the meeting packet that is published a week prior to the meeting.
