Strategic Plan Discussion Continues at October 10 Work Session

October 3, 2024 - The Corvallis City Council will continue its work to prioritize and refine the City's Strategic Operational Plan at the upcoming October 10 Council Work Session.

To date, the Council has participated in several facilitated meetings throughout 2024 to identify goals and outcomes, and revise the Strategic Operational Plan (SOP) to help achieve those outcomes. The current five-year SOP has been in use since 2017 and has helped the Council and the community gain a long-range understanding of City policies and operations. Delivering efficient, reliable public services requires clear goals and long-term direction, and the Council has an opportunity to apply its experience in City matters and in representing the community to provide a sustainable, strategic framework to help guide City service delivery in the future.

Most of the time at the regularly scheduled October 10 Work Session will be dedicated to this continuing discussion. The Work Session is open to the public. Meeting materials and a link to participate is available on the City website.
