Changes to CTS Service, beginning Monday September 23

Beginning Monday, September 23, there will be route and/or changes to Corvallis Transit System that will directly affect Routes 1 Peak, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9.

Route 1 Peak – Adding a run at 11:55am and moving the 12:30pm run to 12:55pm.  Departures from the Downtown Transit Center for Route 1 Peak will be at 6:55am, 7:55am, 8:55am, 11:55am, 12:55pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm.

Route 2 –  Expands period of 40-minute runs into the evening.  40-minute run times will operate from 11:20am until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, except during Oregon State University’s Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks. Departure times from the Downtown Transit Center will be at 11:20am, 12:00pm, 12:40pm, 1:20pm, 2:00pm, 2:40pm, 3:20pm, 4:00pm, 4:40pm, 5:20pm, and 6:00pm. 30-minute run times are in effect at 15 minutes after the hour and 45 minutes after the hour from 6:15am until 10:45am and from 6:45pm until 8:45pm.

Route 3 – Implements 40-minute runs during a portion of the day.  40-minute run times will operate from 11:20am until 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, except during Oregon State University’s Winter, Spring, and Summer breaks. Route 8 – Doubles frequency from 120-minute headways to 60-minutes.  Service for Route 8 will operate every 60 minutes, from 6:00am until 8:00pm Monday through Friday and from 8:00am until 6:00pm Saturday.

Route 9 – Route 9 is being eliminated because of low ridership and the need to put resources to Route 8, which serves key areas with growing demand that can’t otherwise be served. The majority of Route 9 stops coincide with other routes and the remaining stops are a short walk to other routes.
