Advisory Groups
The City of Corvallis seeks input and advice from the public through a network of policy advisory boards and task forces, operational committees and work groups, and commissions. Participants are typically community members interested in making an impact on a particular policy topic or area of service. Time commitments vary, from policy boards that meet monthly on long-term policy topics, to short-term task forces that work regularly for a few months on a specific issue and then conclude their work.
These advisory groups are just one aspect of the City's commitment to the full spectrum of public participation, as outlined in the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation.
