June 4th

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 900-block of NW Kings Blvd in regards to a trespassing complaint. It was determined the male had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Trespass I / Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2800-block of NW Grant Ave for a report of a previously trespassed male in the bathroom. The 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass. During this time, it was learned the male had returned to the business and stole merchandise on two previously unreported occasions. He was charged with theft stemming from those incidents and transported to the jail.

Coercion- Officers contacted a resident in the 3700-block of SW Waterleaf Ave who had sent intimate images of themselves to someone they met online in exchange for money. That person is now requesting more photos or they’ll release the photos they already have.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a cooperative shoplifted. A 47-year-old female, Junction City resident, was issued a criminal citation for theft and a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 57-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 400-block of SW 4th St who was the subject of active warrants. The male was issued citations and released.

Argument- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 4th St and NW Monroe Ave for a report of an argument in which pepper spray was displayed but not used. Investigation did not yield probable cause for enforcement action.

Warrant Arrest- Officer contacted a 47-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave. During the contact, it was learned the male had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. He was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 900-block of SE Centerpointe Dr for a 9-1-1 hang up call. Upon arrival, they located a 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, with an active warrant for his arrest.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a single vehicle rollover crash. Investigation revealed a 23-year-old male, Seattle resident, operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated and drove up a power pole support line, flipping his vehicle onto the roof. The male was later released from custody with criminal citations.

Interfering / Resisting Arrest- While officers were conducting a DUII crash investigation in the 1500-block of NW Jackson Ave, another 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, repeatedly continued inserting himself into the investigation and entering the scene of the crash after being warned not to interfere and to remain out of the roadway. The male was ultimately taken into custody and physically resisted arrest. He was lodged at the jail.

June 3rd

Bias Crime- An officer responded to the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of the caller being harassed by two females. The caller reported there were two females yelling and saying she was illegally forcing and oppressing her daughter by making her wear a hijab. The females left prior to officer’s arrival and were not identified.

Trespass- Officers responded to the library for a report of a male flipping off other patrons as they walked by. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, and the caller wanted the male trespassed. The male was issued a Trespass Notice and left the area.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported her neighbor kicked the door in at her residence in the 2800-block of NW Polk Ave approximately four days prior. The caller didn’t think it was a police matter, at the time. The caller contacted her neighbor, and he agreed to pay for the damage.

Warrant Arrest / Disorderly Conduct II / Attempted Assault IV- Officers responded to a report of a fight in an alley in the 500-block of SW 4th St between a male and a female. A 48-year-old female, Newport resident, was detained on the scene. Subsequent to investigation on scene she was arrested, placed in a WRAP restraint device, and transported to the hospital for a jail clearance before being lodged. She was also the subject of active warrants, for which she was cited.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a cooperative shoplifter. The items were returned to the business who did not wish to pursue charges. A 30-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Endangering / Reckless Driving- Officers responded to a crash near the intersection of NW Garfield Ave and NW 9th St. The driver of one vehicle, a 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, showed signs of impairment. He had also been called in a few minutes earlier as a reckless driver. The male was arrested for DUII.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 1400-block of SW A Ave for a report that the caller’s social security number had been leaked a fraudulent account was opened in their name.

Trespass- A 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for trespassing after she refused to leave the hospital lobby and refused to be seen by medical staff. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released on a citation.

June 2nd

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 2900-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a male who had entered the residence and was refusing to leave. A 46-year-old male, Albany resident, was identified as the suspect. The male stated he was tracking his 15-year-old daughter’s location, and it suddenly stopped at the location of the residence, leading him to believe she was somewhere inside. As officers were speaking with the male, his daughter’s location started again, showing she was not at the residence. The caller only wanted the male trespassed from the residence.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a theft which had just occurred. The suspect was identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, who was located in the area. The male was issued a criminal citation for Theft III.

Probation Violation- A parole and probation officer reported a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, who was in violation of his probation was sitting in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave. The P&P officer authorized a detainer to be placed on the male based on multiple violations of his probation. The male was contacted, taken into custody, and transported to the jail.

Open Container- A 57-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 500-block of SW Monroe Ave with an open alcoholic beverage. The female was issued a criminal citation for Open Container.

Warrant Arrest / Theft- A 53-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted in the 400-block of SW Madison Ave. She was found in possession of someone else’s wallet that she admitted to having been in possession of for several weeks, but hadn’t gotten around to turning it in yet. The wallet was seized and she was cited for theft of lost or mislaid property.

June 1st

Criminal Trespass- A caller in the 400-block of NW 4th St called to request a subject be issued a trespass notice for the building. Officers arrived in the area and located the subject parked nearby. The 50-year-old male, no fixed address, was issued a trespass notice and left the area.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd to report a subject in the business refusing to leave. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, still inside. The officer confirmed the male was previously trespassed from the business and arrested him. He was issued a citation, released, and left the area without further incident.

Open Container- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a female yelling and causing a disturbance. The female suspect was located in the area and identified as a 55-year-old female, no fixed address. The female had an open container of alcohol in her possession, and was therefore cited for Open Container.

Warrant Arrest- Officers stopped a vehicle in the 300-block of NW Van Buren Ave for a traffic violation. The passenger, a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment / Trespass- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody for Harassment and Trespass after bouncers at a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St reported the suspect spit on them after they informed him he was trespassing. The subject had been trespassed from the bar previously due to his behavior, but had returned. The male was transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in Central Park and contacted a 45-year-old female, no fixed address. There was no domestic dispute, but instead the female was just being loud and agitated. She was found to have an active warrant and was issued a citation.

Warrant Arrest- A 53-year-old male, no fixed address, was taken into custody on an active warrant after being contacted in the area of NW 2nd St and NW Monroe Ave.

May 31st

Criminal Trespass- An employee from the library called to request a 28-year-old male, no fixed address, be trespassed from the building. Officers later located the subject, advised him he was trespassed from the library, and he left the area.

Contempt of Court / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers were dispatched to the 2600-block of SW Leonard St for a 9-1-1 call with a female reporting she needed help. Officers arrived at the address and contacted the female caller and a 37-year-old male, no fixed address. Investigation revealed the male had a no-contact jail release order stating he could not contact the caller. The male was arrested, searched, and methamphetamine was located on him. The male was booked into jail.

Theft / Harassment- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplifter in custody. The caller reported the female suspect was trying to push through loss prevention staff after being detained. The suspect was identified as a 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had stolen approximately $40 worth of merchandise. The female was contacted by loss prevention and was initially cooperative and handed over the stolen merchandise. As the loss prevention officer was attempting to get the female’s identification, she tried to push through to leave, including while the loss prevention officer was attempting to contact law enforcement. The female was taken into custody for Theft III, Harassment, and Interfering with Making a Report and transported to the jail.

Theft- A 27-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for a theft at a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd. While searching the female, stolen property from another business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd was located in her possession. The female was additionally charged with Theft II.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl)- A 58-year-old female, Albany resident, was contacted in her vehicle in the 600-block of NE Conifer Blvd, as it appeared she was passed out while it was parked. The female had a warrant for her arrest and admitted to recent fentanyl use. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Criminal Mischief- A vehicle had two tires slashed and a front passenger window broken out in the 500-block of NW Jackson Ave.

May 30th

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- A 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was called in as a potentially intoxicated driver by an off-duty Philomath police officer in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd. The male was passed out in the driver’s seat, with the vehicle on, foot on the accelerator and revving the engine. After conducting an investigation, the male was arrested for DUII.

Trespass- A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for burning rubbish at an abandoned business. The female was cited in lieu of custody for trespass.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 3rd St for a report of someone who rear-ended the back of the caller’s trailer before leaving the area.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of NW 21st St for a report of an unknown individual who stole a flag from a flagpole on the property.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the intersection of NE Hwy 99W and NE Conifer Blvd for a report of a female walking into traffic and trying to remove her clothes. The 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the jail.

Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the intersection of NW 23rd St and NW Tyler Ave for a report of a vehicle which had been broken into overnight.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded for an attempt to locate on a vehicle that was being driven by an individual who was reportedly intoxicated. The vehicle was located near the intersection of NW Kings Blvd and NW Harrison Blvd. Officers performed a traffic stop and identified the driver as a 22-year-old male, California resident. After investigation on scene, the driver was arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped an electric scooter for a traffic violation near SW 4th St and SW B Ave. A 42-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was also found to be in possession of a user quantity of methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. A 43-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was subsequently arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was also in possession of a user amount of methamphetamine.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Reckless Endangering / Minor in Possession- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. The driver, a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, exhibited signs of impairment. He performed SFSTs and was ultimately arrested for DUII, Reckless Driving, Reckless Endangering, and MIP.

Disorderly Conduct / Resisting Arrest- An officer attempted to stop a cyclist near SW 3rd St and SW Adams Ave for riding the wrong way in the street. The cyclist, a 43-year-old female, no fixed address, initially refused to stop. The female eventually stopped in the middle of SW 4th St and refused to exit the road. She was ultimately arrested for Disorderly Conduct. She resisted being taken into custody and was also arrested for resisting arrest before being booked at the jail.

May 29th

Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver- A witness came to the Law Enforcement Center to state she’d seen a silver pickup back into another vehicle in the 100-block of NW 5th St and was able to provide a license plate number for the suspect vehicle. Officers located the suspect vehicle at a residence and arrested the driver, a 67-year-old male, Corvallis resident, for Failure to Perform Duties of a Driver.

Shoplift- Officers responded to a business in the 200-block of SW Madison Ave for a report of a person who stole approximately $400 in merchandise before fleeing the area.

Hit & Run- Officers responded to the 900-block of NW Spruce Ave for a report of a vehicle which hit the caller’s trailer yesterday morning, causing damage, before leaving the scene.

Fraud- Officers took a report of a phone scam which occurred in the 2600-block of NW Highland Dr.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a report of a previously trespassed male who returned to the premises. Officers issued a Trespass Notice to a 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle on a traffic stop in the 100-block of SW 2n St. The passenger, a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a warrant for his arrest and was booked at the jail.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine) / Minor in Possession (Alcohol)- Officers contacted a vehicle parked behind a business in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd. There were three male occupants in the vehicle who were drinking alcohol. When the males were getting out of the vehicle, an officer observed a baggie of cocaine on the passenger seat. A 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, admitted the substance was cocaine and that it belonged to him. He was cited for PCS-Cocaine and MIP-Alcohol.

Possession of a Forged Instrument- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 400-block of NW 23rd St for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver, a 20-year-old female, Corvallis resident, the officer observed a second, fictitious identification in her possession. The identification was seized.

Open Container- A 27-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was cited for an Open Container of Alcohol in the 500-block of NE Circle Blvd.

May 28th

Criminal Trespass II / Violent Conduct / Open Container / Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Jefferson Ave for a report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, threatening to fight someone in the area. The suspect was located, arrested, and transported to the jail.

Assault IV- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW Monroe Ave for a report of a fight. Officers learned a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, approached a victim who was sitting on a bench. The female began name-calling and telling the victim they were going to die. The female punched the victim, pulled their hair, and attempted to push them off the bench. The female was located and arrested for Assault IV, Menacing, and Disorderly Conduct II. She was lodged at the jail.

Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1900-block of NW 9th St for failure to signal a lane change. The driver, a 37-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was driving with a criminally suspended license and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 31st St for a report of a person who appeared high and was becoming violent. Officers contacted a 20-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who was not communicating with officers. He was transported to the hospital by medical personnel. Inside his wallet were two fake IDs, which were seized. No criminal charges were pursued.

Warrant Arrest- A 35-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. She had multiple warrants for her arrest and was issued citations.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was stopped for a traffic violation. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

May 27th

Failure to Register as a Sex Offender- An officer was dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center lobby for a report of a sex offender in the lobby who was out of compliance with his sex offender registration. The officer contacted a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and issued him a citation for the offense.

Franchise Requirement / Littering / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Warrant Arrest- An officer was on patrol in the 1800-block of NW 9th St and found two subjects rummaging through a dumpster. The officer went to stop the two, and one fled on foot. The subject who did not flee refused to identify himself, was uncooperative, and was ultimately detained by the officer. The subject who fled was not located. Officers were able to identify the detained subject as a 50-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a state-wide Parole Board warrant. He was transported to the jail.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St. A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, stole items and fled the business. The male was located by officers nearby. The items were recovered, and the male was cited in lieu of custody.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to the 1400-block of SW Brooklane Dr for a vehicle vs bicycle collision. It was determined the bicyclist, a 24-year-old female, Corvallis resident, failed to stop at the crosswalk and was issued a citation for the incident.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 2700-block of SW Wake Robin Pl for a report of a trespass complaint. The officer contacted a 72-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant.

Motor Vehicle Collision (Injury)- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW 4th St for a vehicle collision with injuries. Officers were able to determine a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, ran a stop sign. The male was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was issued a citation for the incident. The occupants of the other involved vehicle were uninjured.

Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to the 1300-block of SE Goodnight Ave for a report of a city ordinance complaint. The officer contacted a 64-year-old male, no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody for the warrant.

May 26th

Warrant Arrest- Dispatch received a request from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to attempt to located a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who had a warrant for his arrest out of the Washington County Circuit Court. Officers were able to locate the male, and he was arrested and booked into jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, Corvallis resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in. The male had a warrant for his arrest, and was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 700-block of SE Rivergreen Ave for a welfare check on a subject lying in the grass. Officers arrived in the area and located a 33-year-old male, Corvallis resident and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation for the warrant and released.

Criminal Trespass II- An employee called from the 1500-block of NW 9th St to report a male and female on the business property refusing to leave when asked to do so. Officers arrived at the business and contacted a 22-year-old female, no fixed address, still on the property. The female was issued a citation for trespassing and, additionally, trespassed from the business complex and released. The male fled the area when police arrived and was not located.

Possession of Inhalants / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male “huffing” at the back of the business. An officer contacted a 48-year-old male, no fixed address. The male immediately ran at the officer and ran into the officer’s patrol vehicle. The male was holding the inhalant and appeared to be under the influence of inhalants. He had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was ultimately cited for possession of inhalants and transported to the Linn County jail for his warrants.

Identity Theft- An officer spoke with a fraud victim located in the 1100-block of SE Rivergreen Ave. It was reported by the victim that an unknown suspect had attempted to open a credit card in the victim’s name. The incident was reported to the bank and there is currently no financial impact to the victim.

Theft III- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a theft complaint. It was determined a 38-year-old male, no fixed address, entered the business, stole items, and fled. The male was located approximately a half an hour later and was taken into custody for Theft III. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was cited in lieu of custody and trespassed from the business.

Trespass II / Warrant Arrest- An officer responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. A male was reported to be in the area of the dumpsters, refusing to leave. The officer contacted a 39-year-old male, no fixed address, who had multiple warrants for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody for trespass and the warrants.

Attempted Burglary- A victim in the 1300-block of SW E Ave reported hearing someone at their door who then attempted to kick the door. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was located and identified a short distance away, however there was no probable cause established for an arrest.

Warrant Arrest- A 29-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted near the 100-block of SW 1st St.

Warrant Arrest- A 21-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody on several active warrants after being stopped for a speeding violation on SW 3rd St. He was booked the jail.

May 25th

Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 200-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a 45-year-old female, no fixed address, threatening a person sitting on a bench. Officers arrived on scene and learned the suspect female was upset a person was sitting on her favorite bench. The suspect then repeatedly walked by the person, yelling, cussing, and threatening them. The suspect was located, arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Theft- Victim reported a subject stole her jacket and would not return it. Officers arrived in the 1400-block of SE Vica Way and contacted the suspect, a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, still wearing the stolen jacket. The female suspect was arrested, issued a citation and released. The jacket was returned to the victim.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash into a tree around NE Walnut Blvd and NE Conser St. Officers arrived on scene and developed probable cause to arrest the driver, a 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, with DUII.

Hit & Run- An officer took a report of a hit and run in the 1800-block of SW Whiteside Dr. The driver of the suspect vehicle initially stopped, but then left the scene without exchanging information. The victim only wanted an information exchange. The driver of the other vehicle did not speak English, resulting in some of the confusion.

Trespass- A 33-year-old female, no fixed address, was trespassed from a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd.

Menacing / Attempted Assault / Unlawful Use of a Weapon- Officers responded to the 3400-block of NW Crest Dr for a domestic disturbance complaint. A 46-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was causing a disturbance in the front of the residence. During the disturbance, the male threw beers at his father’s car, broke multiple dishes, attempted to punch his father, and pointed a pellet gun at his father and threatened him with it. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Package Theft- An unknown suspect stole packages off the front porch of a residence in the 2800-block of NW Polk Ave sometime overnight. There was video of the suspect provided to police.

May 24th

Criminal Trespass II / Disorderly Conduct II- Officers were dispatched to the 600-block of NW 27th St for a report of a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, kicking over bikes, yelling, and cussing. Officers arrived in the area and contacted the suspect, who was agitated and yelling. The male was detained, and officers were able to obtain video of the subject kicking over an uninvolved subject’s bike as he walked past in the park. Additionally, officers learned the male was trespassed from all city parks. He was arrested, removed from the area, issued a citation and released.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave for a trespass complaint. The caller reported a previously trespassed male was back on the property. The officer contacted a 52-year-old male, no fixed address, and took the male into custody for trespass. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer contacted a male in the 400-block of SW C Ave. The subject, a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, had several outstanding warrants. The male was taken into custody, and controlled substances were located on his person. The male was transported to and lodged at the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers located a vehicle in the 1500-block of NW 9th St that had been called in as a possible intoxicated driver and conducted a traffic stop. The officer developed probable cause to believe the driver, a 64-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was impaired and was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- An officer contacted a male in the 400-block of SW C Ave. The subject, a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and controlled substances were located on his person. The male was issued citations.

May 23rd

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, returned to a city park in the 600-block of NW 27th St after having been previously trespassed, and was cussing near children. The male was taken into custody for Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation.

Theft / Trespass- A 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, stole merchandise from a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd, from where he had also been previously trespassed. The male was subsequently arrested for Trespass I and Theft III. He was cited in lieu of custody.

Theft- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for theft after he stole merchandise from a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. He was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Littering- An unknown subject dumped trash in Dixon Creek. A witness provided a possible suspect vehicle description, but officers were unable to develop probable cause.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old male, Lebanon resident, was arrested on outstanding warrants in the 3500-block of NE Lancaster St. He was issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at SW 2nd St and SW Washington Ave. The driver of the vehicle initially provided a false name before ultimately identifying himself. The driver, a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had a parole violation warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked at the Linn County Jail.

Special Response Notice- An officer responded to a loud noise complaint in the 300-block of NW 23rd St. The officer used a decibel meter and determined the music coming from a residence was in violation of municipal code. The residence was issued an SRN for Amplified Sound.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle near NW 9th St and NW Reiman Ave for a traffic violation. The officer developed probable cause to believe the driver, a 66-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was impaired and ultimately arrested the driver for DUII.

Special Response Notice- An officer responded to a loud noise complaint in the 600-block of NW 21st St. The officer heard loud yelling and noise coming from the residence, which could be heard a significant distance away. The occupants were issued an SRN for Loud Noise.

May 22nd

Warrant Arrest- A 50-year-old female, Junction City resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn herself in on an active warrant. The female was taken into custody and transported to the jail.

Trespass- A 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, returned to a facility from which he had been previously trespassed in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was cited for Trespass and transported to the Crisis Center at his request.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Reckless Driving / Driving While Suspended (Misdemeanor)- A Corvallis detective observed reckless vehicle operation in the area of NW Hwy 99 and NW Lewisburg Ave. The driver, a 46-year-old female, Independence resident, refused to stop for the detective and continued into Corvallis where she was stopped by uniformed officers in marked vehicles in the 600-block of NW Elks Blvd. After investigation, it was determined the female was impaired. She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where a DRE evaluation was conducted. The female was ultimately cited for DUII, Reckless Driving, and DWS-Misdemeanor.

Driving While Suspended- Officers performed a traffic stop near the intersection of NW Buchanan Ave and NW 11th St. The driver, a 38-year-old male, Sisters resident, was found to be driving on a criminally suspended license. He was arrested and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a previously trespassed female who had returned to the property. The 64-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested and released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of SW C Ave for a report of a female inside the caller’s apartment who wouldn’t leave. A 43-year-old female, no fixed address, was issued a Trespass Notice from the location and left.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers responded to the 2200-block of NE Conser St for a complaint of a verbal domestic dispute. While responding, dispatch advised the male half had left in a blue truck and that he was reportedly intoxicated. An officer located and stopped the vehicle near the 1300-block of NW Circle Blvd. The driver was contacted and the officer developed probable cause to arrest him for DUII. The driver, a 48-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was booked into the jail.

Violent Conduct / Minor in Possession- Officers responded to a residence in the 600-block of NW 27th St for a fight. Upon arrival, officers located two 18-year-old males, both Corvallis residents, who were involved in the fight and detained them. There were numerous other people present in the area who began leaving and fleeing the area on foot as police arrived. Through speaking to witnesses and bouncers at the residence, officers learned the two males who were initially detained were the instigators of the fight. They were issued citations for Violent Conduct. As they were under 21, they were also both issued citations for MIP.

May 21st

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was reportedly screaming at people and lunging in front of vehicles in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The male was contacted and determined to have a warrant for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he received a citation for the warrant.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 49-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and a 40-year-old female, Corvallis resident, at a residence in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave. Both were arrested on active warrants and ultimately released on criminal citations.

Criminal Trespass II / Interfering with a Peace Officer- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Cummings Ave for a report of a male who had returned to the property after being trespassed and was cutting vegetation in the forested area. A 68-year-old male, no fixed address, was located on the property. He initially ran from officers before being detained. He was arrested and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on criminal citations.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1900-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a female who was refusing to leave and harassing customers. A 68-year-old female, Eugene resident, was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Suspicious Activity- An officer was patrolling around businesses in the 1900-block of NW 9th St when they came across a subject wearing a mask behind a business. The person fled on foot after seeing the officer’s vehicle. While other officers were looking for the subject, another officer came across multiple new packages of restaurant cleaning supplies in the middle of the street nearby. Officers were unable to locate any obvious signs of burglary at any businesses in the area. A report was taken to document the suspicious activity.

May 20th

Criminal Trespass- A customer called from the 1800-block of NW 9th St upset with the business she was at because the business wanted her and her children to leave after the children became rowdy. Officers arrived at the business and employees requested the caller, a 36-year-old female, Coos Bay resident, be trespassed from the business. The female was trespassed and left the property.

Warrant Arrest- An officer was on an unrelated call for service in the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd when they contacted a 24-year-old female, no fixed address. During the contact, the officer learned the female had a warrant for her arrest. She was issued a citation and released.

Theft II- An employee called from the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd to report a theft in progress. The caller stated a female had just left the business with multiple stolen items. Officers located the 24-year-old female, no fixed address, who admitted to the theft. The female was issued a citation for the theft, the items were returned to the business, and the female was released.

Civil Dispute Report- Officers took a report of a civil situation regarding disputed vehicle documents from a caller in the 2500-block of SW Pickford St.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 1700-block of SE Bethel St who was scammed out of $1,000 by someone claiming they had a warrant.

Hit & Run- Officers took a report of a parked vehicle that was hit sometime earlier in the day in a parking lot in the 700-block of NW 9th St.

Warrant Arrest / Theft- Officers were contacted by a caller who stated their wallet was stolen in the 500-block of SW 4th St. The suspect, a 35-year-old male, no fixed address, later turned himself in at the Law Enforcement Center. He was issued a criminal citation for theft and for an active warrant.

Criminal Mischief- Officers responded to a residence in the 700-block of NW 35th St for a report of vandalism.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, in the 1800-block of NW Grant Ave. The female had numerous outstanding warrants for her arrest from multiple jurisdictions. She was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 58-year-old male, Lincoln County resident, in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

May 19th

Warrant Arrest- A caller reported an argument at a camp in the 3500-block of NE Lancaster St. Officers responded to the location and contacted two subjects, who admitted to being involved in a verbal argument. During the investigation, officers learned one of the subjects, a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, had a warrant for his arrest. The male was issued a citation and released.

Criminal Trespass- A property owner called from the 800-block of NW 13th St to request a subject be trespassed from the property. Officers arrived at the address and found a 31-year-old male, no fixed address, at the property. The male was given a trespass notice and left the area.

Violent Conduct- Officers responded to the 500-block of SW Madison Ave for a disorderly female. Upon arrival, officers learned the 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was threatening people in the area. The female was taken into custody and issued a citation for Violent Conduct.

Criminal Mischief- An officer took a report of criminal mischief in the 2800-block of SE Beverly Dr. The caller reported two tires were slashed sometime during the day. There were no cameras and no suspect information.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) / Tampering with Evidence- An officer observed a 41-year-old male, no fixed address, using a controlled substance in the 400-block of NE Circle Blvd. When the officer attempted to contact the male, the male attempted to destroy the evidence. The male was taken into custody for PCS Methamphetamine and Tampering with Evidence.

Assault- Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 3400-block of NE Lancaster St. Investigation revealed a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident, had been in a physical altercation with his spouse while their children were present. The male fought officers, punching one in the face, while being taken into custody, and tried to use his child as a shield to prevent being arrested. He was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

Hit & Run- An officer responded to the area of the 4200-block of NW Circle Blvd for a reported hit and run. Investigation revealed the caller was knocked off his scooter, without injury, in the area by a slow-moving vehicle which did not stop. The caller was not cooperative with the investigation and had no details about the vehicle, only wanted to report the incident occurred.

Disturbance- Officers responded to the 2300-block of NW Hummingbird Dr for a report of a disturbance. Investigation revealed a 47-year-old male, Albany resident, was in an altercation with the mother of his child at her residence and she had locked him out. No arrests were made and the male left the property.

Trespass- Officers responded to the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a 64-year-old female, no fixed address, trespassing on the property. Upon arrival the female was located on the property and taken into custody. She later received a citation in lieu of custody and was released at the Law Enforcement Center.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 23-year-old male, Corvallis resident, in the 300-block of NW 3rd St regarding outstanding warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody for multiple warrants.

May 18th

Warrant Arrest- A 22-year-old male, Gresham resident, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on a statewide felony warrant. He was arrested and booked into jail.

Motor Vehicle Assist- Officers responded to the 2500-block of NW Kings Blvd for the report of a traffic accident. They contacted a 76-year-old female, Corvallis resident, who had been driving and crashed into a parked car. The vehicle had been attempting to park but hit a car, then backed out and hit the business building. There were no injuries reported.

Menacing / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 2600-block of SW Leonard St for a report of a 37-year-old male, Corvallis resident, threatening to kill a female in her apartment. Investigation revealed the male coerced and menaced the female into paying him $200. The male was taken into custody for Coercion, Menacing, and an outstanding warrant and transported to the jail.

May 17th

Criminal Trespass- A caller reported a 42-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was talking to children in the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr. An officer contacted the male, determined no crime occurred, and trespassed him from the property.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male yelling and throwing items around inside the business. The caller reported the male was leaving the store. An additional caller reported observing the male jump on the hood of a vehicle in the parking lot as he was walking away. The suspect was located and identified as a 41-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and Criminal Mischief II and transported to the jail.

Forgery- Officers responded to a business in the 300-block of NW 2nd St for a report of a male who purchased merchandise using counterfeit money. The caller showed the officers the money and it was determined to be counterfeit. The suspect was identified as a 20-year-old male, Eugene resident. The male was taken into custody for Forgery I and Attempted Theft III by Deception. The male was transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 1300-block of NW 9th St for a male who was reportedly yelling at customers and banging his head on glass windows. The suspect was identified as a 58-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a criminal citation.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported two tires on her vehicle were slashed while it was parked outside of her place of employment in the 6000-block of SW Mosaic Dr. No suspect was identified.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer observed a wrong-way driver on NW Harrison Blvd and conducted a traffic stop at the 300-block of NW 3rd St. The driver was identified as a 19-year-old male, Corvallis resident, who appeared to have been drinking alcohol. The driver consented to SFSTs, and was ultimately taken into custody for DUII.

May 16th

Trespass- Officers contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, at a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St from which he had been previously trespassed. He was arrested, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old female, no fixed address, at a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St who had active warrants for her arrest. She was issued criminal citations and released.

May 15th

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, came to the Law Enforcement Center to turn himself in on several warrants for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody for the warrants.

Trespass- A 57-year-old male, Corvallis resident, returned to a property from which he had been previously trespassed in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was escorted off the property and issued a citation for Trespass II.

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 2600-block of NW Highland Dr for a report of a person throwing things around in a spare bedroom and refusing to leave. A 33-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Criminal Trespass I and an active warrant. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and released on a criminal citation.

Domestic Disturbance / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a domestic disturbance involving two individuals around a vehicle. A 21-year-old male, Sweet Home resident, was involved in the incident who was the subject of an active warrant. His contact with the other involved party violated a condition of his probation as well. He was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was lodged on his active warrants.

Warrant Arrest / Theft- While officers were investigating an unrelated call for service, a 41-year-old male, Corvallis resident, shoplifted from a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd. The male was detained by officers on scene, and it was learned he had active warrants for his arrest. He was arrested for the warrants and additionally charged with Criminal Trespass I and Theft II. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released.

Attempted Assault IV / Disorderly Conduct II / Harassment / Criminal Trespass II- Officers responded to a report of a theft at a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St. An employee recovered property after confronting the potential thief, but the thief slapped the employee, who was able to block it with their hand. The suspect matched the description of a 33-year-old female, no fixed address, who was arrested earlier in the day. The female was later located by officers on another call for service. She was lodged at the jail.

Warrant Arrest / Resisting Arrest / Disorderly Conduct II / Attempted Assault on a Peace Officer- Officers responded to the 2600-block of NW Highland Dr for a report of a female threatening the caller and charging at their vehicle. The 33-year-old female, no fixed address, was detained on scene and attempted to kick an officer while resisting arrest. She was transported to the jail, where she was lodged.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers contacted a caller in the 2100-block of NW Tyler Ave who reported their vehicle was broken into sometime in the last month, and items were stolen from within.

Shoplift- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a shoplift in progress. Employees called and reported a female had remained in the store after closing and stole a number of items. The female fled the story via the emergency exist and was located nearby hiding. The suspect, a 28-year-old female, Toledo resident, was taken into custody. She initially refused to identify herself. She was booked into the jail.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, in the 200-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was booked into the jail.

May 14th

Trespass / Warrant Arrest- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 2500-block of SW Western Blvd after refusing to leave the property of a business. The male was taken into custody for trespassing and was transported to the Linn County Jail on an unrelated warrant for his arrest.

Trespass- A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for trespassing after returning to a property from which he had been previously trespassed in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Trespass- A 36-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for Trespass II and Attempted Trespass I after walking into a residential backyard in the 1200-block of NW Tyler Ave. The male was processed and cited out at the jail.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd for a report of a motor vehicle crash. One driver was issued a traffic citation for following too close.

Possession of Inhalants / Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 36-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of NW Taylor Ave and NW 26th St who was the subject of an active warrant and had a large canister of nitrous oxide. He was transported to the hospital for a jail clearance and then lodged at the jail.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplifter. A 59-year-old female, California resident, was issued a criminal citation for Shoplift I.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male continuing to come back to the property despite being told to leave. He was issued a Trespass Notice at the request of the business.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers on routine vehicle patrol located a motor vehicle collision in the 1800-block of NW 9th St. One driver was issued a traffic citation for Failure to Yield when entering a roadway.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 38-year-old male, Albany resident, in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl who was the subject of active warrants. He was arrested and transported to the jail where he was lodged.

Theft / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 100-block of NE Walnut Blvd for a report of a male who had just stolen merchandise. The 42-year-old male, no fixed address, was located in the area and arrested on an active warrant. He was also issued a criminal citation for Theft.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to a residence in the 100-block of NW 15th St for a report of a loud party. The residence was issued an initial SRN.

Warrant Arrest / Trespass- Officers responded to the 200-block of SW Cummings Ave for a report of a male setting up an illegal camp on private property. The 68-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested for Trespass and for an active warrant. He was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released on a criminal citation.

Fight- Officers responded to the 1500-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of a fight. Officers located a male in the area who appeared to be involved, but he was not cooperative with the investigation. There were no other witnesses or involved parties located. A case report was taken to document the incident.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 3400-block of SE Midvale Dr for a trespass complaint. Officer contacted a 33-year-old female, Corvallis resident, at the location who had multiple warrants for her arrest. She was booked into the Benton County Jail.

May 13th

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplifter in custody by loss prevention staff. The caller reported the subject, a 35-year-old female, Corvallis resident, stole over $200 in merchandise and was confronted outside of the store. The female admitted to taking the merchandise and was issued a criminal citation for Theft II.

Theft / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male who had previously been trespassed and was now back on the property. The caller reported the male had stolen merchandise as well. The suspect was identified as a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, and he was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass I and Theft III, and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 28-year-old male and 24-year-old female, both no fixed address, were contacted in the 100-block of NW 6th St. Both had warrants for their arrests and were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Fraud- Caller reported there were multiple fraudulent charges to her bank account, totaling over $190. The caller only needed the incident documented to provide information to her bank.

Theft- An unknown female stole approximately $17 worth of merchandise from a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd. The female was not located nor identified.

Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at SW 4th St and SW B Ave due to being the suspect in a previous investigation. The male was taken into custody based on the information from that investigation. The officer located methamphetamine on the male while searching him. The male was transported to the jail for the previous investigation and issued a criminal citation for PCS-Methamphetamine.

Warrant Arrest- An officer stopped a vehicle near NE Circle Blvd and Hwy 99. The officer recognized the passenger as a 58-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male had a felony warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked at the jail.

Theft by Extortion- An officer took a report from a male of a possible theft by extortion. The male reported he sent revealing pictures to another person via a social media application. The suspect, who is not known to the victim, demanded money or they would release the photos to the victim’s family. The victim blocked the suspect account and did not make any payments.

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was in a business in the 300-block of NW 3rd St after being told to leave multiple times. The male had also been previously trespassed from the location. He was issued a citation for Trespass II.

May 12th

Trespass- Caller reported a former member of their residence in the 2900-block of NW Harrison Blvd has been harassing current members. The 35-year-old male, Corvallis resident, recently stood on the corner of the property flipping off members of the residence. The male was contacted and issued a trespass notice from the residence.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1100-block of NW 5th St for a report of theft by fraud. The caller reported an 18-year-old female, Corvallis resident, purchased a vehicle approximately two weeks ago, but the check used for the purchase bounced. The business had been in contact with the female multiple times about the financial situation and she agreed to come meet with them. The female arrived in a different vehicle than the one she purchased. The caller checked the VIN for the vehicle the female purchased and found it was listed for sale at another car dealership in Wilsonville. It was learned the female traded in the vehicle she had purchased with the bad check for the vehicle she was currently driving. The female was issued a criminal citation for Theft I by Deception.

Theft- Caller is an employee for a business in the 1400-block of NW 9th St and reported the license plate off one of their company vehicles was stolen. The caller was not sure when the theft occurred.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported she found what she believed to be bullet holes in her vehicle while it was parked outside her residence in the 1800-block of SE Bethel St. The holes in the vehicle were very small, and the caller believed they were caused by a BB gun or similar. No suspect was identified.

Hit and Run- Caller reported her vehicle was struck by another car while it was parked in the 900-block of NW Sycamore Ave. There was no video of the incident and a suspect was not identified.

Theft / Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a female who stole merchandise after being previously trespassed from the business. The suspect was located in the area and identified as a 45-year-old female, no fixed. The female was issued a criminal citation for Theft III and Criminal Trespass I.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1800-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male and female who had just stolen over $160 worth of merchandise. The male and female ran out of the store with a shopping cart full of stolen merchandise and the caller lost sight of them. Neither suspect was located nor identified.

Theft- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl for a report of a male who just stole over $115 in merchandise. The suspect was confronted by loss prevention staff as he was leaving the store and began fleeing on foot. The male was not located, nor identified.

Open Container / Trespass- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted at the Transit Mall with an open container of alcohol. The female was issued a criminal citation for Open Container and Trespass II, as she had previously been trespassed from the Transit Mall.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 800-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male punching and jumping on metal grates located on the property of the business. The caller reported the male’s behavior caused multiple customers to leave the business when they pulled into the parking lot. The suspect was identified as a 60-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a criminal citation.

Theft III / Criminal Trespass I- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW Western Blvd for a report of a subject concealing items on their person inside a store. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the suspect, a 45-year-old male, no fixed address. The suspect was arrested for theft and for returning to the business after having been previously trespassed from the property. He was issued citations for the offenses and released.

Open Container / Trespass- An officer responded to the library for a report of an intoxicated male refusing to leave. The suspect was identified as a 57-year-old male, no fixed address, an he had an open container of alcohol. The male was issued a criminal citation for Open Container and issued a trespass notice from the Library.

Violation of Stalking Order- Caller reported his ex-wife, a 57-year-old female, Corvallis resident, came onto his property in the 6900-block of SW Philomath Blvd in direct violation of a stalking protective order he had against her. The caller stated the female came on the property and started yelling and calling him derogatory names. The female was located in the area and taken into custody for Violating a Stalking Protective Order and transported to the jail.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported her vehicle was keyed while it was parked outside her residence in the 100-block of SW Prairie Ave. The caller believed it was her neighbors who caused the damage to her vehicle. The neighbors were contacted and denied causing any damage, and there was no evidence to support the caller’s claims.

Warrant Arrest- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was arrested on several active warrants after being contacted in Avery Park. He was booked at the jail.

May 10th

Disorderly Conduct II / Trespass II- Officers were dispatched to the 400-block of SW 3rd St for a report of a subject punching the air, approaching people aggressively, and making people uncomfortable. Officers located the subject nearby and identified him as a 39-year-old male, no fixed address. The male admitted his behavior was inappropriate and could cause alarm. He was arrested, removed from the location, issued a citation and released.

Open Container- An officer was on patrol in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd and contacted a 51-year-old male, no fixed address, with an open container of alcohol. The officer stopped the male and issued him a citation.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 54-year-old male, no fixed address, in the area of SW 4th St and SW Western Blvd. The male had warrants for his arrest and was cited in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a 55-year-old male, no fixed address, who refused to leave when asked to do so. Dispatched advised the male got irate when the caller approached him. Officers contacted the male and placed him into custody for trespass. The male continued to be belligerent and was transported to the Law Enforcement Center and cited in lieu of custody.

Trespass- Officers were dispatched to a construction zone in the 400-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a male trespassing. Officers contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, inside fenced construction zone with “no trespassing” signs on the fence. The male advised he went into the area to store his belongings and use the bathroom. He was cited in lieu of custody for Trespass II.

Violation of a Court Order- A 57-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for violating a stalking order after contacting the protected party at their residence. She was booked at the jail after a hospital clearance.

Theft- Victim reported the theft of a Segway brand scooter after he left it just inside the entrance doors of a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd.

May 9th

Warrant Arrest- A 49-year-old female, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave and was found to have a warrant for her arrest. The female was cited in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 37-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 600-block of NW Monroe Ave and found to have a warrant for his arrest. The male was cited in lieu of custody.

Motor Vehicle Collision Officers responded to the intersection of NW Van Buren Ave and NW 9th St for a motor vehicle collision. A driver was issued traffic citations for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device and Careless Driving.

Theft Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd for a report of a shoplift.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 39-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 1100-block of NW 5th St who was the subject of an active warrant. She was arrested and transported to the jail, where she was lodged.

Argument- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at an apartment in the 2600-block of SW Pickford St. A 28-year-old female and a 45-year-old male, both Corvallis residents, were involved in an argument which was briefly physical. Neither party had any visible injuries, both stated the other started it, and there were no witnesses. Officers could not determine who was the primary aggressor and could not develop probable cause for any crime. Both parties were advised to separate for the night and a case report was taken to document the incident.

Warrant Arrest- A 42-year-old male, Albany resident, was contacted in the 1300-block of NW 9th St. The male had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was transported to the Linn County Jail where he was booked and lodged.

Disorderly Conduct / Harassment- Officers responded to a bar in the 100-block of SW 2nd St for a disorderly subject. A 39-year-old female, Corvallis resident, was overly intoxicated and causing a disturbance inside the bar. Bouncers removed her from the bar, at which point the female began slapping and hitting another patron outside the bar. She was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Harassment, and trespassed from the bar.

May 8th

Warrant Arrest- A 59-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted in the 100-block of SW B Ave and arrested on an active warrant.

Open Container / Offensive Littering- A 60-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for Open Container and Offensive Littering in the 1500-block of NW 9th St after throwing items about at a business from which she had been previously trespassed.

Unauthorized Entry into Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to a report of a vehicle that was broken into in the 2600-block of NE Jack London St earlier that night.

Public Nudity / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to the 1900-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a naked, intoxicated person. The 42-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for an active warrant, charged with public nudity, and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was released on a criminal citation.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 1100-block of NW Van Buren Ave for a report of a female who was blocking the alley and yelling and harassing people. The 68-year-old female, no fixed address, was arrested for trespassing, transported to the Law Enforcement Center, and released on a criminal citation.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)- Officers arrested a 49-year-old female and a 39-year-old male, both no fixed address, stemming from a call for service near NW 1st St and NW Van Buren Ave. The male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine as well. Both were released on criminal citations.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller who reported they received a call from a private number with an individual claiming to be a deputy. The unknown fraudster claimed the caller had missed court and successfully extorted funds from the caller.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, near the intersection of SW 4th St and SW Madison Ave who was the subject of an active warrant. The male was issued a criminal citation and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 42-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 2100-block of NW 9th St who was the subject of active warrants. She was issued criminal citations and released.

Warrant Arrest- Officers contacted a 41-year-old female, no fixed address, in the 100-block of NW 1st St who was the subject of active warrants. She was issued criminal citations and released.

Trespass- An officer contacted a male behind a business in the 700-block of NE Circle Blvd nearby posted “No Trespassing” signs. The male was issued a citation for Trespass.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- An officer stopped a vehicle in the 500-block of NW 9th St for a traffic violation. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and consented to perform SFSTs. The driver, a 21-year-old male, Silverton resident, was arrested for DUII.

May 7th

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 400-block of SW 3rd St after locking himself in a bathroom and refusing to leave a business. The male was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was released with a citation.

Trespass- A 50-year-old female, Albany resident, entered a business in the 1100-block of NW 9th St nude and began harassing customers. The female was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II after refusing to leave the business. She was transported to the Crisis Center and put in touch with Crisis Center staff.

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 600-block of SW 2nd St for a report of a person refusing to leave a bathroom. The subject, a 28-year-old female, Toledo resident, ultimately left and was issued a trespass notice.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 400-block of SW Twin Oaks Circle for a report of someone opening a fraudulent account in a family member’s name.

Public Indecency- Officers responded to the area of SW 3rd St and SW B Ave for a report of a passerby who saw a male masturbating in the area. Officers were unable to locate the male or anyone who had witnessed the conduct.

Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle- Officers responded to the 1200-block of NW 23rd St for a report of a vehicle break-in which had occurred overnight.

Assault IV / Strangulation / Criminal Mischief II- An officer was parked in the area of SW 4th St and SW B Ave. While parked there, the officer was contacted by a victim who walked up to his patrol vehicle. The victim was crying and had visible injuries to her face and hands. She stated she was just assaulted by her boyfriend, who was in an apartment nearby. She also stated her boyfriend had choked her and broke her phone. The suspect, a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted and taken into custody for Assault IV, Strangulation, and Criminal Mischief. He was booked into the jail.

May 6th

Warrant Arrest- Officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of NW Menlo Dr and contacted a 72-year-old male, Corvallis resident, on an unrelated call for service. During the contact, officers learned the male had a warrant for his arrest. He was issued a citation and released.

Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) / Theft II- A victim called in to report their electric scooter was stolen from the 1400-block of NW 20th Pl. The victim reported he located the scooter in the 800-block of NW Kings Blvd. Officers responded to the area and located the scooter in the possession of a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident. The male was detained, and officers learned he also had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and during the searched, suspected fentanyl was found in his possession. The male was booked into jail, and the scooter was returned to the victim.

Theft / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 2000-block of NW 9th St for a report of a shoplift. A 32-year-old female, Philomath resident, was arrested for Theft III and an active warrant. She was transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was released on a criminal citation.

Assist Other Agency- Officers responded to the 2500-block of SW Pickford St stemming from a request from Albany Police Detectives who were on scene reporting a Violation of a Court Order in progress. A 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested and transported to the jail after a hospital alcohol clearance.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of SW Monroe Ave for a report of a male outside who was making inappropriate comments and gestures. The 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was arrested on an active warrant. He was issued a trespass notice from the business and ultimately released on a criminal citation.

Fraud- Officers contacted a caller in the 300-block of NW 16th St who reported they had transferred two tickets to someone over an online platform and the person was now refusing to pay.

Trespass / Resisting Arrest- Officers responded to a business in the 1700-block of NW 9th St for a report of a male refusing to leave the property whom the caller believed had been previously trespassed. The male resisted arrest and was placed in a WRAP restraint device. The subject, a 56-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was transported to the hospital for an alcohol clearance and then transported to the jail, where he was lodged.

Theft- Officers contacted an employee from a business in the 1500-block of SW 53rd St who reported a theft which had occurred a few weeks ago.

Special Response Notice- Officers responded to a residence in the 1400-block of NW Van Buren Ave for a report of a loud party. The residence was issued an initial response SRN.

Warrant Arrest- An officer contacted a 39-year-old female and a 48-year-old male, both no fixed address in the 2000-block of NW Circle Blvd. Both had warrants for their arrest, and both were issued citations.

May 5th

Trespass- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was at Chintimini Park causing a disturbance and yelling. The male had been previously trespassed from all City parks. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a criminal citation for Criminal Trespass II.

Criminal Mischief / Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a residence in the 300-block of SE Goodnight Ave for a report of a male kicking the door and trying to get in. As officers were responding, the male turned the power off to the residence. The male was located in the area and identified as a 45-year-old male, Corvallis resident. He was found to also have a warrant for his arrest. The male stated he thought he was allowed to be on the property as it was his friend’s house, but the people inside wouldn’t let him. The male was taken into custody for Criminal Mischief III and the warrant and was transported to the jail.

Trespass- Caller reported an unknown male was sleeping on the property of his business in the 2700-block of SW 3rd St. A 40-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted on the property and issued a trespass notice.

Robbery III- Officers responded to a business in the 2300-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of loss prevention officers attempting to take a male into custody for shoplifting and the male was resisting. Upon arrival, officers detained the male. The suspect was identified as a 40-year-old male, no fixed address. The male stole merchandise and pushed a loss prevention officer when he was confronted. The male was taken into custody for Robbery III and transported to the jail.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to NW 3rd St and NW Jackson Ave for a report of a male standing in the roadway and blocking a vehicle that was trying to leave a nearby parking lot. A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was identified as the suspect. The male was yelling at passersby and was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct and transported to the jail.

Warrant Arrest- A 31-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was contacted at his residence in the 2000-block of SW 3rd St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Harassment- An officer responded to the hospital for a report of a patient who spit on staff. While the staff was treating the 45-year-old female, Albany resident, she spit in the face of one of them multiple times. The female was issued a criminal citation for Harassment.

Hit & Run- Caller reported a female struck the back of her vehicle while parked at a business in the 5200-block of SW Philomath Blvd and then left the area. The suspect vehicle was located, and the driver was identified as a 48-year-old female, Corvallis resident. The caller did not wish to pursue charges, and an exchange of information was facilitated.

Nudity / Open Container- Officers responded to a business in the 1500-block of NW 9th St for a report of a female “exposing” herself and disturbing customers. The suspect was identified as a 60-year-old female, no fixed address, and she was located with an open container of alcohol. The female was taken into custody for Nudity and Open Container and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where she was issued a criminal citation.

Trespass- A 39-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for trespass after returning to a property in the 900-block of NW Hobart Ave from which he had been previously trespassed.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision with injuries in the 2600-block of NW Garfield Ave. The driver, a 74-year-old female, Corvallis resident, drifted out of her lane and struck a parked, unoccupied car, causing her vehicle to roll over onto its side and slide down the road before coming to a stop. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Warrant Arrest- A 64-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on an active warrant after being contacted during a loud noise complaint in Avery Park.

May 4th

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants- Officers were dispatched to the 1100-block of NW Jackson Ave for a report of an intoxicated female who was driving, drinking alcohol, yelling, revving the engine, and who had urinated on herself. As officers were arriving at the scene, it was reported the female driver had struck a parked vehicle. Officers contacted the driver, a 68-year-old female, no fixed address, in the vehicle. The female was arrested and booked into jail.

Criminal Trespass- A property owner called to request a subject be trespassed from their property in the 400-block of SW Western Blvd. The caller stated an unknown person was asleep on their property, and they wanted the person trespassed from the property. An officer arrived at the address and contacted a 30-year-old male, no fixed address, asleep on the property. The male was removed from the property, issued a trespass notice, and released.

Criminal Trespass II- A volunteer called from the 600-block of SW Madison Ave to report a subject refusing to leave the property after being told they were trespassing. Officers arrived at the location and contacted a 51-year-old female, no fixed address, who had been asked to leave the property repeatedly and refused to do so. She was detained, issued a citation for Trespass II, and released.

Warrant Arrest- A 61-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted at SW 2nd St and SW B Ave. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Bicycle Theft- Caller reported her bicycle was stolen outside of her residence in the 300-block of NW 2nd St. Caller stated she observed a male take her bike and leave the area. The suspect was not located.

Motor Vehicle Collision- Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of NW Walnut Blvd and NW Highland Dr. One driver was cited for Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device.

May 3rd

Trespass- Caller reported a male yelling on their property in the 800-block of NW 9th St. The suspect was identified as a 45-year-old male, no fixed address, who had been previously trespassed from the business. The male was issued a criminal citation and left the area.

Trespass- Caller reported a female was on the property of their business in the 400-block of SW 3rd St who had been previously trespassed for committing a theft at the business’s Albany location. The suspect was identified as a 22-year-old female, no fixed address, and she had not been formally trespassed from the business. The female was issued a Trespass Notice and she left the area.

Shoplift- Caller reported a female was shoplifting merchandise from their business in the 1900-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The suspect was identified as a 57-year-old female, no fixed address, and officers were not able to develop probable cause to believe the female stole merchandise. The caller wanted the female trespassed from the business, so she was issued a Trespass Notice.

Menacing- Caller reported she and a friend were followed by a male holding a knife as they were leaving Central Park. The caller described the male as having a butcher knife in his possession. A male was contacted in the area who matched the description provided by the caller, but he did not have a knife with him. Multiple people were contacted at the park, and they stated they did not observe anyone being followed by someone with a knife. The officer attempted to contact the caller to get a better statement, but the caller never answered her phone, and the officer was unable to reach her at her residence.

Violation of Order- A 34-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was taken into custody for violating a no-contact order in the 2500-block of SW Pickford Ave when the protected person called to report he had just left the residence. As officers were speaking to the protected person inside the residence, the male returned and let himself into the residence, resulting in his arrest. He was booked at the jail.

May 2nd

Warrant Arrest- A 47-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on several active warrants after he was contacted in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl.

Theft- A 27-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited on a package theft which had occurred during the previous week after she was contacted during an unrelated illegal camping complaint.

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male, no fixed address, was cited on a warrant after being contacted in the 200-block of SE Chapman Pl.

Fight- Officers responded to a fight complaint between a male and female at the BMX track. The female allegedly confronted the male and then threw a stick and rock at the male. The male then followed the female a short distance away and struck her with a stun gun. The 41-year-old female, no fixed address, was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct. The 37-year-old male, no fixed address was also cited for Disorderly Conduct as well as Unlawful Use of a Stun Gun.

Open Container- A 45-year-old female, no fixed address, was cited for an Open Container of Alcohol after officers responded to a complaint near SW 5th St and SW Adams Ave of a person sleeping on the sidewalk.

Hit and Run- Victim reported his vehicle was damaged while he was inside a business in the 800-block of NW 9th St. A witness jotted down the license plate of the suspect vehicle, but it was not at the local listed address when an officer went there to check. Pending contact with the suspect vehicle owner.

Argument / Disturbance- Officers responded to the area of SE 3rd St and SW Twin Oaks Cir for a report of an argument between a male and female where the male allegedly threw the female’s bicycle over the bridge railing. Both subjects were contacted and both denied and argument occurring. Both bikes were accounted for as well.

Violation of Order- Officers responded to the 800-block of NW 23rd St for an unknown problem. The caller reported someone was inside the apartment who was not supposed to be there. Upon arrival, officers learned a 30-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was hiding inside the apartment. The male was a respondent on a no-contact release agreement, and the protected person was the female who was also present in the apartment. The officer called for the male to come out and he eventually surrendered without incident. He was booked at the jail.

Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants / Hit and Run- Officers responded to the 500-block of NW Harrison Blvd for a Hit and Run which had just occurred. A suspect vehicle description and license plate were obtained. The suspect vehicle was located near SW 5th St and SW C Ave with the driver still in the vehicle. The driver, a 29-year-old male, Corvallis resident, was ultimately arrested for DUII.

Trespass- A 41-year-old male, no fixed address, was trespassed from a hotel in the 400-block of NW 2nd St after he was intoxicated and causing a disturbance.

May 1st

Trespass- Officers responded to a business in the 500-block of SW 4th St for a report of a previously trespassed male back on the property. The caller reported the male was refusing to leave and throwing rocks into traffic. The subject was identified as a 39-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody for Criminal Trespass II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a citation.

Disorderly Conduct- Officers responded to a business in the 700-block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a male threatening to fight vehicles and calling women derogatory names. Witnesses reported having to cross the street as they were walking due to the male’s behavior. The suspect was identified as a 60-year-old male, no fixed address. The male was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II and transported to the Law Enforcement Center where he was issued a criminal citation.

Trespass- An officer responded to a business in the 1000-block of NE Circle Blvd for a report of a male sleeping on the property under a tarp. The suspect was identified as a 58-year-old male, no fixed address, and he was issued a Trespass Notice from the property.

Criminal Mischief- Caller reported two windows were broken on their business located in the 100-block of SW 8th St. Video surveillance did not capture the suspect who broke the windows.

Warrant Arrest- A 45-year-old male and 22-year-old female, both no fixed address, were contacted at SW 15th St and SW Philomath Blvd. Both subjects had warrants for their arrest and were issued citations in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- Officers responded to a traffic crash in the 200-block of SW Tunison Ave. The driver, identified as a 46-year-old female, Lebanon resident, was passed out from a medical event and crash through a fence. It was discovered the female had a warrant for her arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody. The passenger was identified as a 48-year-old male, Albany resident. He, also, had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Warrant Arrest- A 56-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1000-block of NW 9th St. The male had a warrant for his arrest and was issued a citation in lieu of custody.

Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist near NW Division St and NW Hayes Ave. The cyclist, a 32-year-old male, Corvallis resident, initially did not stop. A short time later, the male stopped and was immediately confrontational with officers. The male was holding a taser stun gun and arced the taser when confronted by the officer. The male was detained without incident. It was determined the male accidentally arced the taser because he was using the flashlight on the taser and hit the wrong button by accident. The male was a convicted felon and was subsequently arrested for Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon.

Warrant Arrest- A 38-year-old male, no fixed address, was contacted in the 1700-block of NE Four Acre Pl. The male had several outstanding warrants for his arrest and was issued citations.

Obstructing / Possession of a Controlled Substance- An officer attempted to stop a cyclist in the 900-block of NW Circle Blvd for a traffic violation. The cyclist immediately fled. At one point, the male fell from his bike and ran on foot, jumping a fence. Officers attempted to locate the male, but he was not located nor identified. The male dropped a methamphetamine pipe while fleeing from the officer.

Hit and Run- A parked vehicle was struck by an unknown suspect vehicle in the area of SW Jefferson Ave and SW 2nd St. No suspect information.
