About the Neighborhood
The Walnut Crest Neighborhood Association was established in 2019. The neighborhood holds at least one general meeting per year and the association's primary means of communication are by email and WhatsApp. Current interests include the nearby MLK Park, promoting neighborhood safety and disaster preparedness, and fostering a relationship with city staff and elected officials.
Boundaries: Boundaries are established by a formal agreement. The Ponderosa Ridge Development and Martin Luther King Park lie to the west, a seasonal stream / green space bounds the northeast, Walnut Boulevard bounds the southeast, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Park lies to the south.
